INDIANAPOLIS- Fresh off of being named the Great Lakes Valley Conference's Freshman of the Year, UIndy 157 Dawson Combest has earned the GLVC's final Wrestler of the Week honor of the season, announced Wednesday afternoon by the league office.

The redshirt freshman went 2-0 on the weekend at the GLVC Duals, with his second win of the day coming in the form of a 5-2 victory over #9 Nate Smalling of #2 McKendree.  Combest, who is currently ranked #11 nationally at 157, improved to 19-5 on the season with the win. In his first match of the day, Combest put up a 16-1 tech fall in 4:13 over Adrian Salazar of Ouachita Baptist. The First Team All-GLVC selection went 5-1 in GLVC matches during the conference season.

Combest and the Greyhounds now look to the postseason, with UIndy hosting the NCAA Division II Super Region 3 Tournament Feb. 29 in Nicoson Hall.
