HOW IT HAPPENED
Seniors
Hunter Waning and
Coby Taylor got things going early for the Hounds, each driving in a run in the first inning. The Hounds would never give up the lead after that point, continuing to drive in runs and not miss any chances. A big sixth inning was the highlight of the day for the UIndy offense where they drove in four runs that was capped off by a
Isaac Bair two run shot to left center field.
Â
David Corbin started the game for UIndy today, taking the mound in the first inning only giving up one hit during his five batters faced.
Myc Witty came on after Corbin to get the win, going six innings giving up a pair of runs, only one earned. A trio of relievers came on down the final stretch of the game to close things out for the Greyhounds pitching staff.
