INDIANAPOLIS – Everyone got in on the fun on Sunday, as the No. 12 UIndy women's lacrosse team (3-0) handed Lincoln Memorial (1-2) a 23-1 setback at Key Stadium.

Eleven Greyhounds tallied a point in the win, but it was the UIndy defense that caused 16 of LMU's 21 turnovers, with
Riley McClure recording six herself.

HOW IT HAPPENED
It was 11-0 Greyhounds before the Railsplitters could successfully clear the ball, with
Lauryn Hardoy and
Abigail Lagos scoring hat tricks during the stretch. Five different Greyhounds caused a turnover, including a pair from McClure at the expense of LMU keeper Micayla Starnes.

UIndy scored 10 more times in the second half, as freshman
Sarah Klein netted two goals in the first three minutes. Senior
Kylie Backus scored for the second straight game, while defender
Kat Green capped the scoring for the Hounds.

Sophomore netminder
Cassidy King made two saves in over 41 minutes of action to earn her third win of the season.
Clare Difato – who entered late in the second half – made her first save since 2017.
