INDIANAPOLIS – University of Indianapolis graduate student Kaitlyn McCoy and sophomore Cedric Buessing have been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Athletes of the Week in women's and men's swimming & diving, respectively, it was announced by the league office Wednesday.

• Won 100 Individual Medley (58.38) and 100 Backstroke (55.79)

MEN'S ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Cedric Buessing, #1 Indianapolis

Major: Business Administration & Management 
Team Results: No Team Scores at U.S. Open Championships (11/30-12/3)

• Finished sixth in 400 Individual Medley (4:21.22)
• Was 14th in 800 Freestyle (8:16.41)
• Placed 24th in 200 Backstroke (2:06.00) prelims
• Clocked a 400 Free time of 4:02.53 for 30th place
• Competed in LCM pool against swimmers from across the globe
• Earns third career Athlete of the Week Award (12/7/22, 10/26/22, 10/27/21)
