Swimming & Diving Authors Record-Setting Season

The Greyhounds punctuated the 2025-26 season with a combined 74 All-America honors at the NCAA DII Championships earlier this month. Junior Jeremias Pock authored an historic performance at the season's biggest meet, setting a program record with four individual national championships while adding a fifth as part of the 400 medley relay team. He reset three school records and a pair of meet marks in the process and also swam the fastest 200 breaststroke race in Division II history.

Graduate student Celina Schmidt headlned the women's team, matching a school record with seven All-America nods on the week to up her career total to 23—tied for the fourth-highest total in school history. Meanwhile, junior Kirabo Namutebi recorded her second career event title in the 50 free while senior Swann Plaza won the natty in the 1650 free.

The Greyhounds racked up a total of 26 gold medals in the meet's 42 events, tacking one eight runner-up finishes and 10 bronze-medal swims.

Through the regular season, the Greyhounds amassed a total of eight GLVC weekly awards, including three apiece from Celina Schmidt and Jeremias Ppck. Both student-athletes were also named the SwimCloud Division II Swimmer of the Week on Feb. 26. Additionally, Schmidt's career total of conference weekly awards was pushed to eight, breaking both program and GLVC records.
