KANSAS CITY, Mo.—The No. 5-ranked UIndy softball team competed another perfect weekend, earning four wins in four road games. After sweeping Southwest Baptist yesterday, the Greyhounds did the same to Rockhurst Sunday, downing the host Hawks 8-0 and 2-1 to up their win streak to 10.

Dominique Proctor continued her breakout sophomore season with a grand slam in game one, good for her second of the season.

Gianni Iannantone sac fly accounted for the lone run through three innings, but that all changed in the top of the fourth.
Tara Williams and
Hanna Burris led off the frame with back-to-back walks, followed by a single by
Sydnie Foster to load the bases.

That set the stage for Proctor, who jumped on the first pitch and deposited it over the leftfield fence to make it 5-0 Hounds.

The Greyhound loaded the bases again in the sixth and tacked on three more tallies, this time without the need of a hit.
Lexy Rees, Iannantone and
Sydnee Perry each notched an RBI, as the former was hit by a pitch and the latter two coaxed walks.

Sophomore pitcher
Kenzee Smith (17-3) recorded her eighth shutout of the season, tossing a four-hitter while fanning four.

The Greyhounds hitters combined to earned 11 walks in the game, good for a season high.

Runs were harder to come by in the capper, but the Hounds found a way as Iannantone's two-RBI double in the third would be all the offense they would need.

Starting pitcher
Haylie Foster combined forces with Smith to hold the Hawks to just one run and only two hits. Foster went 4 1/3 innings to get the win, while Smith came on in relief to stifle a would-be rally in the fifth and went on to get the final eight outs and earn her second save of the season.

Both Proctor and Rees recorded a pair of singles, while Proctor and
Megan Nichols scored one run apiece.
