COLUMBUS, Ohio – Looking to bounce back after a draw on Thursday night, the No. 4 University of Indianapolis men's soccer team stepped on the pitch Saturday afternoon and dominated the Ohio Dominican Panthers from start to finish in a 5-0 victory. The last time UIndy scored five goals in a match came on October 8th of last season in a 5-1 win over William Jewell.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds raced out early once again by netting a goal in just the 16th minute off the foot of
Seth Ward, who scored the season-opening goal on Thursday against Lake Erie. Then, UIndy saw
Michael Tselios go back-to-back with a pair of goals in the 25th and 27th minutes to put the team in the drivers seat.
Â
Refusing to back off, the Greyhounds added another before the end of the half in the 42nd minute off the right foot of
Owen Atkison which was assisted by
Brandon Johnson. Much like his teammate Tselios, Atkison added his second goal of the match in the 76th minute to help cap the win off.
Â
