INDIANAPOLIS – The No. 8-ranked UIndy men's soccer team and the Miners of Missouri S&T played to a scoreless tie on Friday evening from Key Stadium. The Greyhounds are now 8-0-3 on the season, 6-0-2 in GLVC play.

The game was plagued with rain during play. The visiting Miners entered the evening with defense on the mind, starting five back-line players to limit any potential Greyhound attack.
INS & OUTS
The match started with the Greyhounds maintaining possession of the ball for most of the half. With the help of the defensive trio of
Pierre Lurot,
Bobby Turner,
Niklas Thanhofer, the Miners only had one shot.

UIndy's had a strong offensive presence in the first half as well. The team had a total of nine shots, three on goal. Four of those came from captain
Michael Tselios.

Kabiru Gafar had a chance to put a goal on the board but UIndy was called offsides.

The second half was a defensive battle.. The two teams kept the action across the length of the field, passing the ball between the two goals.

The Hounds offense struggled in the second half with shots. The team collectively had five shots, one on goal, in the second half.

Kieran Brown protected the goal for UIndy for all 90 minutes of the match. Brown did not let a single goal in.
