Strong pitching and clutch hitter were the story once again. Senior
Kaitlyn Brown went the distance in the circle, securing not only her first career complete game but also her first collegiate victory. The Granville, Ohio native needed just 70 pitches to get all 28 outs, allowing just four hits and zero walks in a remarkably efficient outing.

The offensive came up big with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the fifth. With the score tied at 1-1, Proctor earned her third RBI of the day when her one-out single scored freshman
Shelby Cook, who herself doubled.
Â
UIndy's earlier run came in the second when Calvin followed an O'Connor double with an RBI single.
