ORLANDO, Fla. - The UIndy women's tennis team continues to struggle on their spring break, losing a 6-1 match to the No. 5-ranked Nova Southeastern Sharks.

The action began at 2 p.m. with doubles play. The Sharks took the advantage early, winning both the No. 1 and No. 3 matches by a score of 6-3.
Lea Cakarevic and
Diane Flament battled hard out of the No. 2 slot but were unable to pull it through, eventually falling in the tiebreaker.
Despite the tough fight in doubles, the Hounds didn't fare better in singles action, losing the top five matches of the line up card in straight sets. Cakarevic attempted to get out on the right foot but a set one tiebreaker fell towards the Sharks lining her up for a two set sweep.
Sofia Sharonova was the lone Greyhound to find the win column out of the No. 6 slot, bucking the trend and reversing it on the sharks, winning in straight sets, 6-2, 6-3.

The Hounds round out their spring break venture in the south with a matchup against NAIA powerhouse Keiser on Sunday.
