MANHEIM, Pa. – The University of Indianapolis wrestling team had 15 student-athletes selected to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-America Team. The Greyhounds' 15 honorees put them No. 2 in Division II, only second to West Liberty (16). The Hounds had a combined GPA of 3.386, which landed them third among DII wrestling programs.

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-America Team, he must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2022 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships and 3.0 for those who earned NCAA DII All-American status for the 2022 season. The athlete must also have competed in a minimum of four dates of competition.
 
Making the list this year was Derek Blubaugh, Owen Butler, Tyler Conley, Nathan Conley, Hunter Cottingham, Jack Eiteljorge, Cale Gray, Zach Haughton, Jackson Hoover, Tabor Lock, Kyle Saez, Aidan Sprague, Jay Thompson, Chris Wilkerson and Chase Wilkerson.
