CARMEL, Ind.—The UIndy women's golf team opened the 2023-24 season at its own tournament Monday and Tuesday, taking sixth place at the UIndy Invitational. The 54-hole event was held at Prairie View Country Club in the northern suburb of Carmel.

The loaded field featured eight teams of the 18 teams that qualified for the 2023 NCAA DII Championships, including four quarterfinalists and national-champ Dallas Baptist.

The Greyhounds posted their best team score in Monday's second round (295) before settling into sixth place. Midwest-rival Findlay took the team title, finishing seven strokes clear of runner-up Lynn.

Individually, junior
Anci Dy finished T-3 to earn all-tournament accolades. The two-time All-American fired scores of 72-73-74 to land at +3 for the week.

Sophomore
Ava Ray (+9) was just three-over herself through 36 holes, but fell back a bit Tuesday to finish at T-13. Freshman
Caroline Whallon (+13) and transfer
Matilda Cederholm (+13) shared 26th place in their Greyhound debut. Sophomore
Alice Webb (+17) tied for 36th, one shot ahead of classmate
Macey Brown in 39th.
