CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The No. 8-ranked University of Indianapolis wrestling team once again found dual victory, this time against GMAC-foe Thomas More by a score of 33-15. The Greyhounds rattled off an outstanding six extra-point wins, with four of those being tech-falls.

The highlight of the night was the long-awaited return of
Dawson Combest after having not seen him on the mat for 676 days. He made his debut in the 165-pound slot for the Hounds making it exciting, grabbing a 22-2 tech-fall, kicking off a 21-point swing for UIndy.

Both squads went blow for blow in the first four matches with the dual being knotted up at 9-apiece heading into the 157 bout.
Nathan Smith (125) and
Gavin Garcia (141) set the stage with the pair dominating in their matches. Garcia's 22-7 tech-fall featured plenty of offense with Garcia nabbing six takedowns.

Looking to give the Greyhounds back the lead,
Nathan Conley scored takedowns in the first and third periods on his way to an 8-4 decision to make it 12-9 UIndy.

Combest, making his mat return, started a dominant Hounds stretch of 165 to 197, securing the aforementioned 22-2 tech fall. Looking for the pin, Combest scored a trio of near falls, with his third earning the tech in the final period.

Derek Blubaugh combined for 16 team points to secure the victory for the Hounds. Sizemore and Butler both earned techs, while Blubaugh was efficient with his mat time, earning a fall in just 41 seconds.
