INDIANAPOLIS - In the second leg of a GLVC road trip, the University of Indianapolis women's soccer team defeated Southwest Baptist, 1-0. The win moves their GLVC record to 4-2-1, and the overall record to 5-4-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds came out of the gate with some heat, driving two shots on target in the first three minutes. Antiya Sidibe and Stephanie Brady were both denied by Sydney King in net for the Bearcats
The Hounds continued to challenge King for the rest of the first, registering 10 shots before finding a breakthrough. A UIndy corner kick at the 40:40 mark went to Dejanae Butler. who ripped a shot through traffic past King for the first goal of the match.

In the second half, the Hounds' back line grew into stellar form, and did not allow a single shot from SBU. Meanwhile, SBU tuned up their level of physicality, committing nine fouls against UIndy in the final half.
