Greyhounds Ground Hawks in Thursday Road Win

QUINCY, Ill. – The UIndy men's basketball team clawed back into the win column on Thursday night, squeaking out a 75-68 victory at Quincy from Pepsi Arena.

Jesse Bingham provided the dagger with under 45 seconds left, drilling a 3-pointer from the top of the key following his fourth block of the evening.

INS & OUTS
The Greyhounds and Hawks went back-and-forth all contest before David Ejah drilled a pair of 3-pointers to put the visitors up double digits for the first time.

Jarvis Walker, doing his best to end any Quincy hope, sunk his second triple of the contest with under five minutes left after a beautiful pass from Kendrick Tchoua underneath the basket.

The Hawks orchestrated a 10-2 run, however, to inch within five points before the Bingham 3-ball at the 42-second mark. After Walker swished free throws, Josiah Tynes sealed the win with a steal.

Just before halftime, Sean Craig put the Greyhounds up for good with his first of two 3-pointers right in front of the Quincy bench.

INSIDE THE BOX
- The team's 11 triples are tied for the third-most in a game this season, while its 47.8 percent clip from deep is the fourth-best mark of the winter.
- Bingham's four blocks match a career-high for the senior, who is now just nine from Steve Kahl atop the program's all-time list with 137.
- Ejah nearly finished with his second double-double of the season, recording 10 points and nine rebounds.
- Dylan Ingram was impressive shooting the ball in limited time on Thursday, finishing with nine points on three 3-pointers and two rebounds.
- Walker led all scorers with 16 points, recording half of his tallies at the charity stripe.
- UIndy turned the ball over just five times in the win, tying the lowest mark of the season (vs. McKendree, Jan. 20).
