ST LOUIS – Wrestling at the GLVC Championships, hosted by the Maryville Saints, the University of Indianapolis wrestling team dropped a pair of GLVC-dual contests to round out their dual schedule, the first to the host Saints, and the second to the No. 15-ranked Upper Iowa Peacocks.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First on the schedule was the Saints, and the Greyhounds got up early, with

Â
Just as before, the Saints rallied with back-to-back wins, the latter being a tech fall, putting Maryville up 14-7. Then the Greyhounds falls leader in
Trey Sizemore went to work, scoring his 10th fall of the season against DII foes, this one in the first period.
Â
A loss at 184 for the Hounds was answered back with a
Derek Blubaugh win at 197, leaving the Saints with a one-point lead.
Jay Thompson battled at heavyweight, but eventually fell via fall for the final score of 23-16.
