Paul Zilinskas, and
Josiah Tynes were recognized on Wednesday among the 2023-24 All-GLVC postseason honorees.
The postseason awards are voted on by the league's 14 head coaches. By rule, coaches cannot vote for their own players.
Bingham and Tchoua highlighted the group of Greyhounds on the first team for the second straight season. Bingham led the team in scoring at 15.6 points per game, while averaging 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. The Indy local produced five 20-point games this season, including a season-high 26 last Saturday at McKendree. He also recorded one double-double this winter, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds at Pitt-Johnstown.
Bingham made 42 blocks this season, topping the team, and is nearing the program's all-time record in career stops with 138.
Tchoua as a force in the paint once again in his final year of eligibility, leading the country in offensive rebounds per game (4.1) and the conference in field-goal percentage (63.9%). The Silver Spring, Md., native averaged 12.5 points and 7.6 boards per contest, while also totaling 25 steals and 16 blocks.
The big man recorded six double-doubles on the season, including a 21-point-17-rebound performance against Rockhurst on Senior Day on Feb. 24.
Both Bingham and Tchoua were also recognized on the 10-person All-Defensive Team.
Zilinskas was in the midst of a heat check after 12 conference games, averaging 12.5 points and 3.0 rebounds. In his first season as a Greyhound, Zilinskas had his 10 highest-scoring games in GLVC action, including a season-high 24 against Missouri-St. Louis in mid-January.
