INDIANAPOLIS - The UIndy men's basketball team remains atop the latest NCAA DII Midwest Region poll, released on Wednesday. This is the season's final set of ranking the top 10, with the NCAA DII selection show set for Sunday, March 10, at 11 p.m. ET.
UIndy opens GLVC Championship Tournament action on Thursday against eighth-seeded McKendree, looking to return the favor of ending the Bearcats' season as they did to the Greyhounds a season ago in the Midwest Regional.
The Greyhounds are on pace to make its 14th NCAA tournament appearance and second under head coach
Paul Corsaro. Winners of nine of their last 10, the Hounds are currently 21-7 this winter and won their second straight GLVC regular season title - the first time a league program has done so since Kentucky Wesleyan three-peated from 1997-00.
