LACONIA, Ind.—The UIndy women's golf team competed at the "FIndianapolis" Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday. Three Greyhounds earned all-tournament honors in the process, helping the team secured the runner-up spot.
Co-hosted by UIndy and the University of Findlay, the tournament was held at Chariot Run Golf Club in Laconia, Ind., Monday and Tuesday. Seven women's teams and six men's squad competed in simultaneous events.
INS & OUTS
The Hounds remained within striking distance heading into Tuesday, sitting at five back after 36 holes. But leader Findlay was able to stay in front down the stretch to earn the team trophy.
Nevertheless, five Greyhounds finished at T-7 or better, including three all-tournament honorees. Junior
Anci Dy and sophomore
Alice Webb led the way, sharing third place at +2. Both Hounds carded a second-round 70 on Monday afternoon. Meanwhile,
Ava Ray (70-77-74) earned all-tourney accolades as an individual, finishing at +5 to tie for fifth.
Freshman
Jess Haines and sophomore
Macey Brown shared seventh at +9, followed by freshman
Caroline Whallon at T-11 and +14.
Ellen Caton also made the trip, finishing T-29 as an individual.

The Greyhounds head to the Gateway City for the UMSL Spring Invitational April 14-15 at Norwood Hills Country Club in St. Louis.
