LIBERTY, Mo. – The No. 10 UIndy men's lacrosse team earned its way back into the win column on Saturday, dominating first-year program William Jewell from start to finish with a 14-1 victory.

Four Greyhounds produced three points, with
Owain Braddock and
Nathan Lam each recording a hat trick. In the rout, William Jewell turned the ball over a whopping 32 times, matching the highest total UIndy has forced in program history.
Trevor Lockwood caused a team-high three turnovers, while the Hounds totaled 16.

UIndy set a new program record with just one goal allowed and has now surrendered three or less six times since its inaugural season in 2016.

INS & OUTS
The game remained scoreless for the first five minutes of action before Braddock opened the floodgates with a goal at the 9:56 mark of the opening frame. The Greyhounds scored six times in the first quarter from five different players, including unassisted goals from
Keegan Laughlin and
Nick Randgaard.

Lam scored all three of his netters in a span of 10 minutes, capping the hat trick off a pass from Randgaard with under 90 seconds to go before the break.

Possession was the name of the game in the second half, as UIndy outscored Jewell by a minimal 3-1 in the final 30 minutes.
Justin Williams and
Connor Magin combined for the three goals, making it nine Greyhounds to finish in the scoring column.

KC Carlson and
Noah Segal shared goalkeeping duties, each making three saves apiece. Carlson also scooped up a pair of ground balls in the first half.

INSIDE THE BOX
- The team's 56 ground balls are the second-highest total in a single game in program history and just the third time UIndy has recorded more than 50.
Dougie Crawford led the Hounds with five scoops.
- Lockwood, who also added three ground balls to his three caused turnovers, scored his first goal as a Greyhound early in the second quarter.
- Randgaard accounted for half of the team's assists, dishing out a pair of helpers. Williams, along with
Triston Schaffer, contributed the remaining two.
- Freshmen middies
Tyler Bernarduci and
Jason Davide joined
Easton Ong and
Jack Sullivan with a pair of caused turnovers.
- The Greyhounds were nearly perfect on clear attempts, finishing with a 29-for-30 success rate. On the ride, UIndy forced four turnovers in the second half against Jewell.
