AUSTIN, Texas – UIndy student-athlete
Anci Dy appeared on the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America® Women's At-Large Team, officials announced on Tuesday. After garnering a third-team nod last season, Dy earned a spot of the exclusive first team this year.
Dy recently wrapped up was of the best seasons in program history. The junior out of Traverse City, Mich., led the Greyhounds to the 2024
national championship, compiling a 73.0 scoring average along the way—good for the third-lowest season total ever for a Hound. She was unanimously voted the
GLVC Player of the Year by the league's coaches and was later dubbed
All-America First Team by the WGCA.
The Division II at-large teams honored 53 student-athletes across a dozen women's sports. The annual list recognizes the top student-athletes in the nation based on their combined performance in the classroom and on the field of competition.
