INDIANAPOLIS - On day one of the ITA National Men's Team Indoor Championships, the University of Indianapolis dropped their quarterfinal match to Barry University by a score of 4-2. The Greyhounds move to 4-2 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Buccaneers struck first in the doubles point, as Gabriele Felline and Tim Riedel took down Asier Ayllon Prado and Tadeo Gaggiofatto in #2 doubles. They clinched the first point of the match when Leo Caill and Yan Kodjoed narrowly defeated David Simeonov and Matthieu Derache 6-4 in #1 doubles after a hard-fought deuce point with the match at 4-5.

Barry took a quick 2-0 lead when Riccardo Trione pounced on Simeonov in #1 singles, with the final score of 6-3, 6-1. The Hounds picked up their first point of the match when Gaggiofatto edged-out Ariel Meshulam 7-6 6-2.

Barry and UIndy then traded points with Lanteri ousting Felline 6-4 6-4 in #2 singles, and Thomas Machado besting Di Cursi 6-4 6-2, to set the score at 3-1 in favor of the Bucs. The match ended on the #3 singles court, with Kodjoed finishing Derache in a three-set grinder, with a final score of 3-6, 6-3, 6-0.
