PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. - The UIndy women's golf team began their spring break trip by winning the Pawley's Island Beach Bash. The Greyhounds finished +45 (315-306). This marks the second tournament the squad has won during the 2024-25 season.

The field included nine teams and 56 competitors. The Hounds faced fellow East Region competitors Gannon, Ohio Dominican, New Haven, and Ursuline.

Three Greyhounds finished inside the top-10 in the field of 56 student-athletes.
Ava Ray led the way with her third-place finish. Ray finished +9 (78-75) with three birdies.
Caroline Whallon and
Macey Brown both earned a share of seventh place at +11 (80-75). Whallon was the only Hound to grab an eagle during the competition. She got it on the third hole, a par four, during the second round.

Abby Stone was not far behind her teammates in 11th place. Stone completed the 36 hole tournament at +14 (77-81).Â
Ellen Caton rounded out the Greyhound lineup in 38th place with a final score of +32 (88-88).

UP NEXT
UIndy will travel to the Atlantic coast to compete in the Oldfield Intercollegiate on Hilton Head Island, S.C. The two-day tournament will begin on Monday, March 17, at the Oldfield Golf Club.
