INDIANAPOLIS – After an undefeated weekend in conference play, the University of Indianapolis men's tennis team was ranked No. 17 in the latest ITA Poll, per a release Wednesday, April 23.
The Greyhounds have been ranked within the top-20 the entirety of the spring, and were recently listed in the top-10 in the initial NCAA Midwest Regional rankings.
UIndy currently sits at 15-3 on the season, holding an impressive 11 match win streak dating back to a 4-3 win over Columbus State on February 16, who was ranked No. 5 at the time.
The men's team carries ranked wins over No. 7 Catawba, No. 28 Purdue Northwest, No. 30 Ferris State, along with aforementioned Columbus State, who is now ranked No. 16.
They look to defend their win streak in the final weekend of conference competition on the road against Illinois Springfield this Friday, April 25, at 2 PM.
