TEMPE, Ariz. – In the final ITA National Poll of the 2026 campaign, the UIndy men's tennis team was ranked No. 12. The Greyhounds jumped two spots from last month's poll after collecting their fourth straight GLVC title and making another NCAA Tournament appearance. 

Today's publication marks the tenth consecutive season where the Hounds were ranked inside the top-20 of the final ITA Poll. 

Individually, Asier Ayllon Prado concluded the season ranked No. 26 in the singles ranks. The Spanish sophomore began the season with an ITA Regional Championship, and finished the year earning the GLVC Player of the Year award with an overall record of 25-6. 

Ayllon Prado and Mathieu Derache leaped 17 spots in the doubles rankings, finishing the year at No. 30. The duo sported a 16-3 mark on the season, ending the season with a 6-2 win over the No. 5 ranked team of Soeren Grandke and Mathys Pinoit of Azusa Pacific. Derache capped his four-year career as a two-time All-GLVC First Team member, and 53 career singles wins. 

Tadeo Gaggiofatto rounds out the group at No. 53 in the singles listings. The Argentine was tabbed Player to Watch in the Midwest Region by the ITA for the second straight year, while receiving his second career nod to the All-GLVC First Team.
