COAL VALLEY, Ill - The UIndy women's golf team advanced to the medal/match round after placing second in the stroke play at +75 (309-312-306). This year's GLVC Championship is being held at Oakwood Country Club for the second straight year.

Just four teams advance to Sunday morning's match play semifinals, with UMSL, Drury, and Illinois-Springfield also surviving to Sunday. UIndy/Drury pairings will play at 9 a.m. ET tomorrow with UMSL/UIS simultaneously playing as well. The winners will face off in the afternoon finals with the GLVC trophy on the line.

Caroline Whallon secured medalist honors after finishing +7 (71-76-73). Whallon remained inside the top-five during the 56-hole stroke. The sophomore broke away from the pack in the final round to win by three strokes. This is the fourth consecutive year that a Greyhound has won the individual title.
Matilda Cederholm won last year's title.

Ava Ray placed third to earn a spot on the All-GLVC First team, finishing +11 (77-72-75). Macy Brown finished +22 (79-81-75) to earn a share of 10th place.
