Box Score INDIANAPOLIS — The University of Indianapolis (7-9, 5-3 GLVC) fell to William Jewell College (9-7, 5-3 GLVC) with a final score of 79-65 on Thursday night at The Nic. Despite a strong first half, the Greyhounds were unable to maintain their lead in the second half against the Cardinals' 48-second-half points.

The game began with the Greyhounds taking an early lead, highlighted by
Carmelo Harris's 3-pointer at 19:24.
Tyler Parrish contributed significantly, scoring multiple 3-pointers, including one at 13:35 that tied the game at 12. William Jewell, led by Justice Sutton, kept pace with key free throws and a layup to maintain a competitive scoreline. In the closing minutes, the Greyhounds pulled ahead with Parrish's 3-pointer at the 1:10 mark, securing a 38-31 lead by the end of the first half.
The Cardinals came out hot in the second half, shooting 50 percent from the field, and used a 20-3 run to take a 10-point lead over the Hounds. Parrish answered with a six-point run to give the Greyhounds life and bring it to a two-possession ballgame. Harris drilled a three-pointer to bring UIndy within four with 9:32 left to play, before the Cardinals used a 17-7 run to build a lead that would carry them to the final buzzer.Â
