INDIANAPOLIS— The University of Indianapolis secured an 81-68 victory over the University of Illinois Springfield on Saturday at The Nic.

Shaun Arnold scored a jumper at 19:32. The Greyhounds maintained their momentum through effective play in the paint, contributing 18 points, and converting 12 points off turnovers to capitalize on Illinois Springfield's mistakes.
Carmelo Harris played a pivotal role late in the half, hitting back-to-back 3-pointers at 2:18 and 1:41, extending the lead. Despite Illinois Springfield's efforts, including a late layup by Alex Stell with 5 seconds remaining, UIndy finished the half ahead, 38–36.
