In just her seventh collegiate start, Bunte baffled Pride batters with seven no-hit innings. She fanned five and walked only one, with two Greyhound fielding errors accounting for two other base runners.
All the scoring came early, with single-run spurts in first and second innings. A
Cara Cooper double and three straight walks plated the initial run, while
Sydney Oliver came around on an error in the second.
Paige Vickery added a hit and a walk,
Cheyenne Eads recorded a single and two walks, while
Brooklyn Willis added a pair of stolen bases.
