INDIANAPOLIS — Following the Greyhounds' first win of the season at the
Oldfield Intercollegiate, the UIndy women's golf team makes an appearance at No. 18 in the latest Scoreboard national poll.
UIndy is now only one of three teams from the NCAA DII East Region in the top-25 of the latest poll, and is the only GLVC school in the top-25 for the third consecutive week.
Along with the Hounds' first team win,
Caroline Whallon captured the second individual win of the 2025-26 season for UIndy, as well as the second individual win of her career which came at last season's
GLVC Championships.
Including Whallon, the Hounds also had a pair of top-10 finishes from
Macey Brown and
Paige Giovenco who both finished T8 (+7), and a top-20 finish from both
Ava Ray and
Valentina Cortez, who competed as an individual in this weekend's event.
UIndy will return back to Indiana on Mar. 30 for the Findianapolis Intercollegiate, which the Hounds will be hosting in Laconia, Ind. at the Chariot Run Golf Course.Â
