– UIndy women's basketball head coach Nick Smith announced the addition of
Stephanie Brady as an assistant coach on Wednesday after a four-year stint with the Greyhounds as one of the team's starting midfielder.

Brady appeared in 65 games over her Greyhound career with 36 starts, and was one of the six players in 2024 to start all 18 games for UIndy. She also led the team in shots with 46 in 2024, and 34 in 2023, and tallied six goals and two assists in her five seasons with the Greyhounds. One key moment in her career was when she scored the game winning goal in the 76th minute in UIndy's 1-0 win over Upper Iowa (9/22/24), and she also scored her first career goal against Ohio Dominican (9/22/23).

She was a four-time Academic All-GLVC honoree from 2022 to 2025 and also earned the GLVCÂ Brother Gaffney Distinguished Scholar award in 2025.Â

The Greenwood, Ind. native was a two-sport athlete at Franklin Community High School, and received an honorable mention as a freshman with 11 goals, 28 steals, and 23 shots. She was awarded the team captaincy role as a sophomore as well as receiving an honorable mention that same season. She concluded her senior year as the head captain, and was named most valuable player after eight goals, 12 assists, and 51 shots, while also being named to all-county team, and academic all-state.
