GAME 1 | UIndy 7, Drury 2
In the first elimination game of the day, the Hounds struck first with four-run blow in the bottom of the second. Each of the first four UIndy batters in the frame reached base, with
Sydney Oliver's bases-loaded walk plating the first tally. RBIs from
Brooklyn Willis and
Cara Cooper followed, as the Hounds were off and running.
Â
Oliver added a two-run single in the third and
Cheyenne Eads tacked on an RBI single of her own in the fourth. Cooper did not make an out in the contest, finishing 4-for-4 with three doubles.
Maya Rodriguez had two hits and two runs, while
Emma Piercy worked three walks and scored twice.
Â
In the circle, UIndy's two all-conference pitchers split duty in the winning effort. Eads (29-2) got the start and ultimately the win, tossing four-plus innings and giving up just one earned run.
Caitlin Bunte took over in the fifth and worked three scoreless frames to net her second collegiate save.

GAME 2 | Rockhurst 12, UIndy 0
