High School: Three-year letterwinner in swimming at Oyster River High. . . took fifth in state in the 100-meter back and fourth in state in the 100-meter breast as a freshman. . . took third in the 100-meter freestyle, second in the 100-meter back and was the anchor of the winning 400-meter freestyle relay team at state as a sophomore. . . took top honors in the 500-meter freestyle and second in the 100-meter back at state as a junior.

Personal: International Relations and Political Science major . . Placed in the top eight in the 100 back, 200 free, 500 free, 1000 free, mile, 200 back and 100 free at the Senior Championships . . . won the High Point champion honors at the Ions Course Championship . . .placed in the top eight in the 100 and 200 back at the same event. . . placed in the top eight in the 100, 200, 400, 800 and mile freestyle races also at the same event.
