Spalding Sportsmanship Award … finished second in the team and ninth in the GLVC in OBP (.436) … also ranked third in the conference in sacrifice hits (13) … had 18 multi-hit games, including a team-high seven three-hit efforts … credited with just one error in 40 chances in the field … strung together 14 consecutive games of reaching base safely (hit, walk or HBP) between 3/23-4/8 … knocked in an impressive seven runs in a doubleheader sweep of in-region Urbana (4/14) … delivered the game-winning hit with a bases-loaded double in the sixth inning off of UMSL’s All-American Hannah Perryman; finished 5 for 6 in the next day’s doubleheader at Maryville on the way to GLVC Player of the Week honors … delivered a three-run double in the Hounds’ 8-0 shutout vs. Southern Indiana in the conference tournament semifinal (5/1) … went 3 for 3 with two runs scored against that same USI team a week later, helping eliminate the Eagles from the NCAA Regional (5/6) … had a two-run single in the sixth inning of the season-ending loss versus Grand Valley State (5/6).
2015
Started 60 games in right field and three in center as a true freshman … compiled a season slash line of .314/.342/.411, mostly out of the No. 7 slot … finished second on the team with 12 doubles … went a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts … earned at least one hit in her first five collegiate games … later strung together a 16-game hit streak (3/14-4/5), longest by a UIndy freshman and fourth-longest overall since data became available in 2001 … managed 14 multi-hit games, including two 3-hit efforts … smacked a pair of doubles versus in-region Ferris State (2/8) … had a stellar all-around performance in a win at Wisconsin-Parkside, going 3-for-4 with three ribbies, a stolen a base and her first collegiate homer (3/30) … accounted for the second of back-to-back jacks for the Hounds in the GLVC Tournament semifinal with a fourth-inning solo shot versus Lewis (5/2), part of a three-hit day … sparked a clutch double play in the sixth inning of a scoreless game in the GLVC final versus No. 2 Missouri-St. Louis, catching a fly ball and gunning down the would-be go-ahead run at the plate (5/3) ... garnered two hits and two steals against Trevecca Nazarene in the NCAA Regional opener (5/8) … smoked a two-run double versus No. 23 Ashland in the NCAA second round (5/9) … earned the Hounds’ only RBI in the season-ending loss to 21st-ranked California (Pa.) at the “World Series” (5/23).
