Made two appearances in the circle, each just 1/3 of an inning and both scoreless … also made her first two collegiate plate appearances, earning a pinch-hit walk versus McKendree and later striking out as a pinch hitter against KWC … Academic All-GLVC and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honoree.

2020
Garnered six appearances on the abbreviated season, all in relief … allowed just one earned run in 9 2/3 innings, good for a tidy 0.72 ERA … garnered first career save with three scoreless frames and three strikeouts versus Lake Erie (2/23).

2019
Made four starts and 15 appearances in the circle as a freshman … compiled a 3.63 ERA in 36 2/3 innings, striking out 28 batters and walking 17 … notched first career win versus Ursuline, spinning a three-hit shutout … also tossed a shutout versus Minnesota Duluth (3/13), fanning seven and allowing just one hit … pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief against eventual-GLVC-champ Missouri-St. Louis (3/17).

HIGH SCHOOL
Three-year letter winner at MHS … named All-Northwest Crossroads Conference First Team as both a junior and a senior … also dubbed all-area both seasons … finished prep career with a 2.08 ERA, striking out 303 batters in 231 innings … went 13-4 with a 1.20 ERA as a junior … led Munster to conference titles in 2017 and ’18, while helping them to a regional title and semi-state appearance in the 2016 IHSAA 4A state tournament … National Honor Society member.
 
PERSONAL
Daughter of Ken and Jill Kaniewski … born August 10 … mother Jill (St. Xavier) and sister Emily (North Central) both played college volleyball, while sister Anna is the volleyball coach at Hammond Academy of Science and Technology.
