Blake Richardson '19

Blake Richardson enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Greyhounds after playing 5 years for UIndy under head coach Gary Vaught and one year under now head coach Al Ready. 

Richardson was a utility player at UIndy making starting appearances at each infield position during his career. Richardson finished the 2017 season tied for first in the nation for sacrifice bunts and led the GLVC in sac bunts that year. As a senior, Richardson was nominated for the Angus Nicoson “Something Extra” award by his team.

Son of Jodie and Loretta Richardson ... Richardson graduated in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management ... he is now currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Management , graduating May of 2020 ... Richardson is a native of Bloomington, Indiana where he attended Bloomington North High School.
