Carlee Bachek

Carlee Bachek is in her 9th season at the University of Indianapolis.

Under Carlee’s direction, the UIndy Dance Team has consistently received accolades on a national level. During the 2021-2022 season, Carlee led the team to a National Championship in the Team Performance Category at DTU College Nationals. The team also earned a first place finish in the DTU Collegiate Virtual Championship in the DII Jazz division. In the middle of a global pandemic, Carlee lead the dancers to a third place finish in the DTU Collegiate Virtual Championship in 2021. The team has also received several Program Improvement Awards from the Universal Dance Association under her leadership. In 2016 Carlee pushed the team to start competing at the national level after a several year program hiatus. She has also started several lasting team traditions including: performing the UIndy Fight Song before football games, which she choreographed, attending college camp each summer, and performing sideline routines at home football and basketball games.

Carlee is a 2014 and 2015 UIndy graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She is also a previous UIndy Dance Team member and previous competitive studio dancer with experience in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theater, and hip hop.
