Mark Bailey joined the UIndy men's basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2024.
A native of St. Louis, Bailey played for longtime NBA coach Stan Albeck and tenured collegiate coach Jim Molinari at Bradley University from 1990-92 before transferring to GLIAC member Wisconsin-Parkside. Upon graduation in 1995, Bailey served as an assistant coach at Carthage and Parkside before spending four seasons at Butler University, helping the team to three NCAA tournaments and one NIT tournament.
Bailey then spent six seasons as a high school head coach in the Indianapolis area, most notably winning a state title at Speedway.
From 2007-17, Bailey coached at various AAU teams in Indiana, training more than 100 players that played in college and/or a professional league.Â
