Anna Calka embarks on her third season with the UIndy swimming & diving programs in the 2023-24 academic year, entering her second year as a Graduate Assistant. In her initial season, she served as a volunteer coach.

Calka played a pivotal role in guiding the Greyhound men's team to their historic first-ever team national title in March of '23. Simultaneously, the UIndy women secured a second consecutive runner-up finish. The 2023 NCAA DII Championships witnessed the Greyhounds securing eight event national titles, with four on the women's side (50 free, 100 back, 200 FR, 400 FR) and four on the men's side (1000 free, 200 FR, both diving events). The cumulative achievements during the week included an outstanding 76 All-America performances and the establishment of 11 school records.

Both squads earned podium finishes at Nationals in 2021, '22 and '23, with the men capturing the 2022 conference crown and the women earning their first-ever GLVC title in 2023.

Calka's coaching journey began at King University, where she served as a Graduate Assistant Swim Coach for both men's and women's swim programs for one year before joining UIndy. Prior to her coaching roles, Calka made valuable contributions as a player at Emmanuel University in Georgia, helping the team secure the Conference Championship twice during her four years.

Hailing from Bochnia, Poland, Calka swam at SMS Oswiecim during her high school years. She is currently completing her Master's Degree in Data Analytics.
