  • Title
    Graduate Assistant
Cassie Kury is in her second year as a Graduate Assistant for the Uindy swimming & diving team. Cassie helps coach the divers on the pool deck and the entire team in the weight room. She has an Exercise Science background and is currently working towards her Masters of Science in Athletic Training. She is set to graduate and become a licensed Athletic Trainer in May of 2023.

Alongside highly-remarkable coaches David McKown and Corey Cole on the diving side, Cassie was a part of the 2021-22 staff that guided the women's team to their highest national finish in program history (runner-up) and the men's squad to its third straight podium finish (3rd).

As a student-athlete, Cassie was one of the most decorated divers in UIndy history. She amassed five All-America performances at Nationals, including a runner-up finish on the 3-meter in 2020, as well as three GLVC Diver of the Year awards and a team MVP in 2018-19. Additionally, she held all of the women's diving records upon her graduation.

With her experiences as an athlete, coach and athletic trainer, she brings a unique perspective to the staff. This position has allowed her to continue to immerse herself in a culture she grew to love throughout her undergraduate and continue helping the program soar to new heights.
