Ryan McCoy begins his fourth season with the UIndy swimming & diving programs in 2023-24.

McCoy helped lead the Greyhound men to their first-ever team national title in March of '23, while the UIndy women secured their second straight runner-up finish.

The Greyhounds racked up eight event national titles at the 2023 NCAA DII Championships, including four on the women's side (50 free, 100 back, 200 FR, 400 FR) and four on the men's (1000 free, 200 FR, both diving events). All told, the Hounds amassed a combined 76 All-America performances and 11 school records on the week.

Both squads earned podium finishes at Nationals in 2021, '22 and '23, with the men capturing the 2022 conference crown and the women earning their first-ever GLVC title in 2023.

McCoy comes to UIndy after serving two years as a Graduate Assistant Swim Coach for the men's and women's swim programs at Eastern Illinois University. At EIU, McCoy assisted the program in setting eight school records along with achieving over 100 entries into the program's all-time top 10 on both the men's and women's side. McCoy received his master's degree in Business Administration.

A Phoenix native, McCoy grew up swimming as a member of the Phoenix Swim Club and competed collegiately from 2014-2018 at Saint Louis University. He was a team captain during his senior year and was a nine-time Atlantic 10 Conference champion as well as a two-time 2016 Olympic Trial qualifier in the 200 Meter Freestyle and 100 Meter Butterfly.
