A four year letter winner in swimming for the Elkhart Central High School Blazers … As a freshman named to 3rd team all-conference in 100 backstroke … named 1st team all-conference in 100 butterfly and 2nd team in the 200 IM as a Sophomore … as a Junior named the 100 Butterfly sectional champion, named to the 2nd team all-conference in both the 100 free and 100 back … his senior year named sectional champion in 100 butterfly, 100 back, 200 medley relay, and 400 freestyle relay … third team all-conference in 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke … apart of the National Honor Society and named to the honor roll.
