Coached the men’s and women’s teams to GLVC Championships … helped the men’s team reach an ITA rank of #1 in the nation … also assisted the men’s team to reach the fifth seed at the DII National Indoor Tournament … led the men’s team to the quarter final of the 2024 DII National Championship … guided Tom Zeuch to reach the final of the Fall ITA Cup singles tournament … helped the women’s team reach the Sweet 16 of the 2024 DII National Championship.
PERSONAL
Milan Jankovic comes to the University of Indianapolis after a successful college tennis career split between Mercyhurst University and Tusculum University. During Jankovic’s Mercyhurst tenure, he earned an ITA Cup berth in doubles, resulting in a No. 15-ranking nationally. His accolades at Mercyhurst include ITA Atlantic Regional Most Improved Senior, PSAC Scholar Athlete, and PSAC First Team in 2022 and Second Team in 2021. He was a stable force during back-to-back conference finals appearances for the Lakers. After graduating from Mercyhurst, he worked in Palm Beach, Fla. as a tennis pro, having also spent time working as a tennis coach at a country club near Washington D.C.
