2009 Game-by-game Statistics

2009:  Took over the starting shortstop gig several weeks into the season, stabilizing the position and earning All-GLVC Third Team accolades at the conclusion of a fine campaign ... hit .326 in 44 starts with 3 HR and 18 RBI ... did not commit first error until her 14th game of the season (Mar. 22) .. made only 3 errors throughout the entire home schedule ... notched first homer as a Hound against eventual league-champion Northern Kentcky (Mar. 28) ... had a season-long six-game hit streak from Apr. 16-26, part of five different hit streaks of at least four games on the season ... had hits in four of five GLVC tournament games, going 6-for-15 (.400) with two doubles and a dinger ... went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI in NCAA Super Regional finale at Saginaw Valley State (May 16) ... notched two hits against eventual-national champion Lock Haven in NCAA World Series.

Prior to UIndy: Played her first two years of college softball at Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa, Calif. . . hit .327 and .269 during her two seasons at Santa Rosa . . . second team All-Big 8 Conference selection as a sophomore.

High School:  Earned seven letters at Rio Linda High School . . . four-time letterwinner in softball, three-time letterwinner in volleyball . . . three-time all-conference selection on the diamond . . . Rio Linda’s Female Athlete of the Year her senior year . . . All-Metro selection as a senior . . . honorable mention all-area as a senior . . . led conference in batting average, hitting .471 as a senior.

Personal: Nursing major . . . four-year honor roll student at Rio Linda . . . National Honor Society member as a prep . . . summer ball softball team, the California Sting (Sacramento), won the 2004 Western World Series . . . born 9/27/1988.
