Evan Reinhardt is entering his second season on the Greyhounds' staff. He began his soccer career in Louisville, Kentucky as a member of the Javanon Soccer Club. Over the course of his goalkeeping career with the club, his 1982 side claimed many tournament and state titles while also reaching the finals of the Region II competition regularly. During this period Reinhardt also performed goalkeeping duties for Trinity High School where he was a three time all-state honoree, captain of the side for two years and Most Valuable Player for two years, as well. The 1998 Trinity side, with Reinhardt in goal, captured the state title with an impressive 26-0 record having conceded only 5 goals during the entire campaign.
After a successful youth career, Reinhardt began his college career for the Indiana Hoosiers in the fall of 2000. After two years with the Hoosiers, Reinhardt then plied his trade for the Butler Bulldogs in Indianapolis, Ind. Captain of the Bulldogs for his final two seasons, the Bulldogs were ranked in the top 30 in the nation while Reinhardt was selected as a member of the All-Horizon League Second Team and also climbed his way up the charts of the Bulldogs’ all-time records for goals against average and saves in his career.
After graduating from Butler University with a degree in Psychology, Reinhardt has remained active in the soccer community as a coach for local clubs and training goalkeepers in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. Reinhardt’s primary focus will be the training and development of the goalkeepers for the Greyhounds.
