Jenny Behan joins the UIndy staff in 2020 as a graduate assistant after a stellar collegiate career at Purdue University.
A native of Mundelein, Ill., Behan engineered one of the greatest two-year spans in Boilermaker history. After transferring from James Madison University as a junior, she earned back-to-back All-Big Ten First Team accolades, becoming just the second player in program history to collect two first-team nods from the conference. Meanwhile, her 13 home runs in 2019 were good for the second-highest single-season total in Purdue softball history.
Other honors for Behan included All-Midwest Region Second Team, Academic All-Big Ten and NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Purdue.
