Katie Neubauer enters her second season on the UIndy bench in 2019. Last spring, the Batavia, Ill., native helped the Greyhounds to a 39-win season, a GLVC Tournament semifinal appearance and an NCAA Midwest Regional berth.
Â
Neubauer came to Indianapolis after earning her bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago. She spent the previous four seasons at the NAIA institution – three as a player and one as a student assistant.
Â
Prior to that, she played her freshman campaign at former-GLVC-member Wisconsin-Parkside. All told, Neubauer was a four-year starter in college, playing in 168 games at the collegiate level.
Â
She is currently studying for a master's degree in Psychology.
