Made five starts combined at the corner outfield spots … also made four pinch-run appearances … had a single and a run scored after getting the start vs. Missouri S&T (3/19) … had a pinch-hit single in the seventh inning at Rockghurst and later came around to score the game-winning run (3/26).

BEFORE UINDY
Played her freshman season at Division I Marshall University … appeared in 49 games as a pinch runner ... scored 11 runs and stole three bases on the season ...named to the 2016 Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Named First Team All-State as a senior after hitting .600 with 22 RBI … led LHS to a 25-6 record and a regional championship that season … participated in West Virginia’s North/South All-Star game … also played basketball and was part of Logan’s 2013 AAA state runner-up team.

Full name is Summer Rain Collins … daughter of Kenny and Laura Collins … born 4/2/97 … father was an All-American basketball player at Charleston University … won back-to-back summer national championships playing for the West Virginia Dusters.
