Aayushi Chouhan joined the UIndy tennis staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach in the Spring 2021. Before joining the Hounds, Aayushi competed as a student-athlete at Division I Delaware State University from 2016 to 2019.
A native of Raipur, India, Chouhan studied Sport Management at DSU and graduated summa cum laude. She was entitled as the Departmental Scholar for three consecutive years and was honored by the NCAA as the 2019 Career Development Award winner. She also received three all-conference academic excellence awards. During her senior year at DSU, Chouhan was named the team's Most Valuable Player while remaining undefeated in doubles in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) play.
After graduating, Chouhan joined Morgan State University as a Compliance Assistant and served as a panelist at the NCAA Careers in Sport Forum and Global Perspective Seminar.
Chouhan, an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship recipient, Chouhan is currently pursuing her M.S. degree in Sport Management at UIndy.
