Alfredo Barcelo joined the UIndy tennis staff as a Graduate Assistant in Fall 2021.
A native from Alicante, Spain, Barcelo studied Business Administration and Marketing. Before joining the Hounds, Barcelo competed as a student-athlete at University of Northwestern Ohio. He made 3 national appearances in the NAIA national tournament with a best team ranking of number 4 in the country. Playing mainly on position 4 singles and 2 doubles. He has been awarded the conference sportsmanship and leadership award the last two seasons.
As a junior Alfredo grew up competing all over Europe and was a top ranked Junior in Spain.
Barcelo is pursuing his MBA with concentration in Data Analytics.
